For those of you who don’t know, PLATO is an acronym for the Philosophy Learning and Teaching Organization. PLATO’s mission is to promote philosophy in classes for all K-12 students, including those who are least likely to have access to academic enrichment programs. The fourth biennial PLATO conference will take place at the University of Chicago on June 23-24, 2017. The Theme is “Social Justice and Pre-college Philosophy: Where Do We Go From Here?” The Call for Proposals has just been issued – please share with your colleagues, submit, and hope to see you in Chicago.
